Mold and Gunk in Water

Pros:
This place is nice, I guess. We haven't had any problems with pests or rodents, and the trash is really well managed, and all of the neighbors are quiet.
Cons:
So, HUGE con is that there is mold and gunk that comes out of the sinks and is in the water. Every faucet. Even the shower. I once almost drank it because I didn't look in my glass and spit it out. We asked for the city/landlord to look into it, who's sent someone who said its "unfortunate but harmless" - I'm talking huge chunks of black, stringy mold. Be prepared to buy bottled water. (There's also mold coming out of the fire sprinklers in the ceiling.)
Advice to owner:
Clean out your pipes or do whatever you have to do to stop having chunks of black gunk and mold falling out of every faucet.

Pros:
Modern appliances, responsive management
Cons:
Things don't feel built to last and there are some questionable design decisions. Management is reluctant to use outside help for pest control

Management was super responsive and fixed issues quickly, building was well maintained and fairly clean, few issues with the building itself
Cons:
Small rooms, no windows in living room
