Amazing sound proof next to subway
Former Tenant
Pros:
Amazing amenities, great location next to the J train but whole bruising is sound proof so you don’t hear anything. Super and maintenue replies fast. Everything has been great so far. Easy transferring to M train
Cons:
Thin walls, my roommate could hear the other units talking. I train schedule can be sometimes chaotic on the weekend

Nice building, but not the greatest tenants
Former Tenant
Pros:
When I moved in it was beautiful.
Cons:
When I moved out it was soooo not beautiful. Longtime neighbors stated that “the building has changed.” Compounded with a lack of maintenance and garbage disposal due to covid, I definitely noticed it myself by the end of my stay. There’s a lot of partying on the roof and in the common areas, and I’d describe the vibe overall as being that of an adult college dorm. Still a nice place to live, but it depends on your situation and what you’re looking for in a residence.
Advice to owner:
It is what it is: You design a fun building with amenities to utilize, and people will do just that. Pick a side though, because to threaten tenants with fines for simply having gatherings in those spaces is unfair. Also, don’t pretend there should be a penalty for using the roof after dark when that’s essentially the only time anyone will really be up there.
