Worst LandLord you can find
Former Tenant
Pros:
Building is good, was properly well kept , until new management came in and are ruining way of life for the tenants living inside.
Cons:
Landlord/management disrespectful to its tenants, speaking down on its tenants and violating their rights as tenants. Telling tenants they haven't paid their rent when they indeed have, telling tenants they renewal is up meanwhile isn't, acting unprofessional to the max.
Advice to owner:
My advice? Go become a landlord of some sort of wasteland rather than a residential building.

Decent at best for the price
Former Tenant
Pros:
Rent controlled unit, somewhat clean , renovated but with the cheapest and worst quality items.
Cons:
The landlord and management group are slimy individuals. Claimed to have lost lease agreement and when the new one arrived the rent figures were higher. (Illegal by the way)
We’ve been on a parking spot waitlist since we moved in. Boris the property manager spends most pf his time on vacation and barely responds to emails, calls or text. In the several months of waiting the dirt bag sold the residential buildings parking spot to the medical center downstairs.

Ehhhh so many issues
Former Tenant
Pros:
Overall clean building, nice neighbors and affordable
Cons:
Water pressure is horrible, windows and walls are not insulated (during winter it is cool, summer is hot), appliances are almost all broken. Landlord doesn’t seem to really care about issues tenants are complaining about - kept calling and following up with them and no response to date!!
Advice to owner:
Take on responsibility for fixing issues in the building. This is ridiculous!

Overpriced and Below Average
Former Tenant
Pros:
Its a rather new building with nice looking interior. Neighbors are very nice and decent people. Parking spots $250.
Cons:
The building is close to Ave M and Coney Island Ave, which are extremely loud. The landlord is extremely frugal. The landlord denied Verzion Fios from entering the building and you’re stuck with Optimum internet (terrible service). The water pressure varies day to day, sometimes is strong sometimes its very low making showering and dishwashing horrible. Weve been promised fixes for a while but nothing had happened. At this price range there should be washer and dryers in unit, instead you have a laundry room with machines that are overpriced, smell and are poorly maintained. Nearly all the appliances (Dishwasher, washing machines and Microwave) have gone bad despite being new this is because they are cheap Chinese knockoffs. They don’t even offer direct replacements just some even cheaper and smaller Chinese appliances. The units are poorly sealed and you will feel strong drafts from the all the cracks and crevices left unsealed. This will in turn result in high electrical costs in the winter.
Advice to owner:
Allow Verizon Fios in the building. Change the washing machines in the laundry room. Replace the appliances with better quality appliances and fix all the issues. Stop being cheap.
