Good value and great area
Former Tenant
Pros:
Simple well-built new apartments, laundry included, great views on upper floors, good price for the area. Doormen very friendly and management mostly responsive.
Cons:
Somewhat cheap kitchen fixtures, loud when windows are open.

Would live there again
Former Tenant
Pros:
Close to trains, shopping, and food. Affordable rent to an extent. Units taken care of for the most part
Cons:
College students, in large quantities live here making it discount the “luxurious” feel. The building markets itself as a luxurious high rise but it’s far from that. It’s nice enough for you to feel comfortable. The units are OK, again, not luxurious,

Decent Building, but it’s student housing
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building is nice and has very good amenities
Cons:
The 2 elevators were not sufficient, also a lot of the building is used for student housing

It’s a dorm!
Former Tenant
Pros:
24/7 doorman service Great location (Trader Joes across the street, every subway line imaginable) Excellent appliances — best dishwasher I’ve ever used Water pressure is superb; hot water comes on nearly instantly Lots of natural light
Cons:
It’s literally a dorm; Kings College owns a bunch of the units and packs them so tightly that half the people living here are college students Amenities are pretty crappy Only 2 elevators for about 150 units Maintenance takes a long time Units are poorly designed; the sink is too short, the drawers are too narrow for a piece of paper, and instead of a shower curtain there is a clear wall that covers half the bathtub so water gets everywhere.

Great building and doormen, but students
Former Tenant
Pros:
The doormen are amazing, and all the support staff do a great job in maintaining the building. The unit itself was nice.
Cons:
A significant number of units were rented to a local university as dorms which caused a lot of issues - backups on the elevators, broken down elevators from overuse, kids in pjs, typical college party stuff. The kids were mostly respectful but it wasn't really a luxury building experience because of them. The building also had some issues from shoddy workmanship in the construction. The floor to ceiling windows were amazing except they weren't properly sealed and leaked throughout the year, making it incredibly difficult to keep the apartment warm during the winter months. Even after repeated requests, management was unable to fix them.
Advice to owner:
Fix the sealants - you're costing your tenants a lot of money in utility bills.

Great Building, great staff!!
Former Tenant
Pros:
Beautiful high rise with a target and trader joes right across! There is also a gym and a lounge room on the first floor. Floor to ceiling windows which brought in so much light.
Cons:
There were 28 floors with only two elevators. One elevator was usually broken so it took a long time to get downstairs.
Advice to owner:
Improve maintenance on the elevators and replace the dishwashers often.

Cute and OK
Former Tenant
Pros:
Clean building, awesome desk staff (usually), everything works
Cons:
Security isn't the best, elevators can be slow (especially if one is out of service, which happens regularly), the shower "door" is weird and water kind of gets everywhere

College Housing
Former Tenant
Pros:
Building is clean, beautiful view, amazing doormen and great amenities
Cons:
BEWARE: this building offers student housing. If you don't want a bunch of loud college students as your neighbors, I do not recommend.
Advice to owner:
Be transparent about the college students

beautiful apts in downtown bkl
Former Tenant
Pros:
the apartments are spacious, the views from both sides of the building are spectacular, the doormen are lovely, and the management is very responsive and helpful!
Cons:
a lot of college students live in the building, but most of them come from private christian schools or homeschooling so they're pretty tame.

Not perfect but overall decent apartment
Former Tenant
Pros:
The units are a good size and all come with amazing balconies. Appliances work great and are new. The doormen are wonderful and learn everyone's name right away. Management is very quick and responsive to maintenance requests. Overall very clean.
Cons:
The walls are paper thin and depending on who your neighbour is they can be very, very loud. There has been ongoing construction next door which can be extremely loud and rattles the apartment during the day. The construction is almost complete now though.
