Unresponsive and negligent management

Pros:
The apartments are nice. There is an elevator. Cool roof.
Cons:
Something is always broken and the management is extremely unresponsive. We had a mold issue in our HVAC units for 3 months. We had to keep pestering management over and over again for this. Our heating and cooling units also broke on multiple occasions, and we were left without heat during December for over a week due to management not responding. The building’s gas was off due to a leak for almost 2 weeks. Again, management not working on it fast enough. One or both of the washing drying units in the basement is always broken.

Update: on the second to last day of our lease while we were in the process of moving out, we arrive at our apartment to find all of our belongings gone. Most of them were in the garbage room in garbage bags ready to get tossed. This is absolutely insane as our lease was not yet over. Please do not live in this slumlord apartment.

Pros:
Good location, great roof view, great amenities in walking distance, decent price.
Cons:
Poorly built apartments, terrible sinks and bathtub unresponsive support, doesn't ask permission to enter apartments when they need to inspect something, leaking in stairwell, roof is trashed, potential mold varying by unit.
Advice to owner:
Treat tenants like tenants and not a captive customer base

Pros:
Two women in a three bedroom made for the perfect amount of room. The third bedroom was our living room and work space and the balcony although small was nice. The heat is great and we never had any pest. We are also close to a lot of things. Great laundromat one block away and train is near
Cons:
Laundry in the basement is a joke. The machines are apartment machines not industrial machines so they break down and are weak machines. The machine in the basement steals your money and wasn’t repaired for months. It might still be broken. I never went back to check.
The outdoor noise if you live in the front side of the building will surely keep you up. I’ve heard it all. The train, loud cars, constant honking, blasting music, so many fights I’ve lost count. It’s so loud I don’t sleep well anymore.
Although the heat works great in the apartment the windows are obviously not weatherproof and I guess there isn’t great insulation bc I would walk in to a fridge for a room EVERY SINGLE DAY. My room is freezing and drafty. Two of the three rooms in the house that is cold like this.
The water pressure in the shower is fine however the water never gets that hot and the shower head is at a 45° angle and the shower has a glass instead of a curtain and the water hits the back wall so there is ALWAYS water on the floor. It’s awful. There’s no way to avoid it unless the shower head is fixed. We have been lowering the pressure so it doesn’t hit so far but then we have terrible pressure while we bathe
Advice to owner:
Soundproof windows and industrial washing machines. Also communicate with your tenants when you start showing their apartments. You can’t show up same day and expect a positive response.

Great location, decent sized bedrooms, nice bathrooms, great rooftop.
Cons:
No gym, no amenities, packages get stolen often.

New rooftop furniture and better security
