It's like lipstick on a pig...
Former Tenant
Pros:
It's a nicely sized unit and with only two apartments, nice and quiet. But that's where the niceties really end.
Cons:
We first noticed things growing in the bottom of wet glasses as the pipes have mold in them. The outdoor space is unusable for 3/4s of the year since it's pretty much an unfinished roof with poor drainage so it's either extremely slick or carrying 4-5 inches of water. The landlord uses bottom feeders for repairs so we ended up having to have them come back time and time again. On top of that, the garbage can (read as 1 can for two apartments and a business) is shared with the dentist's office downstairs meaning it's always filled to the brim. We had piles of garbage falling on us quite literally when we would open the door.
Advice to owner:
Get a superintendent service to support your tenants as you never seem to have the time.
