Decent building unless you need something fixed
Former Tenant
Pros:
New-ish construction (2020), nice amenities, split units are very efficient so electrical bills can be low. Modern touches.
Cons:
The management/landlord is a jerk who won’t address issues until they are critical (aka major flooding impacting multiple floors). Bike storage was broken into with multiple bikes stolen as well as packages stolen and no notice from management company. You can hear noise from other units all the way down the hallway with doors closed. Noise from Ocean Parkway can be heard all day/night. The area is strange, even a bodega is a solid 10 minute walk. Amenities used to be nice but are worn from misuse. Some tenants are really disrespectful of neighbors, and the building. Place is going downhill fast overall.
Advice to owner:
Be nicer and more responsive to tenants. Act like you actually care about issues like cleanliness and security of the building. There’s a reason why this building has high turnover.

Was better a year ago
Former Tenant
Pros:
AC in each room, water temperature is great, elevator, laundry room, “pet friendly” for dogs mostly; super is awesome and hardworking but it’s too much for one person to manage.
Cons:
Cockroaches during the summer are awful, even weeks after pest control has sprayed; electric issues in the bathrooms, water damage left a Dank smell in the hallways and laundry room, laundry facilities are expensive and dirty inside the washers and dryers.
Advice to owner:
Invest in the laundry room if you’re going to charge so much, consider weekly pest control, and hire another super to assist both buildings.

Very cheaply built building
Former Tenant
Pros:
There is a Balcony
Cons:
Building owner does not answer questions clearly, unresponsive and not personable, building is not kept clean at all, many roaches.
Advice to owner:
Be more proactive and accountable :)
