Nice, but with cons
Former Tenant
Pros:
Clean, nice, new building with elevator, gym, and beautiful roof. Apartment is pleasing to the eye. Lots of light and modern finishes.
Cons:
The lack of kitchen space and storage is unreal. The fridge is basically a mini fridge with a midget stove/oven. I bet most people just use it to hide their weed in there…which brings me to my next point. WEED SMOKE pours into the apartment constantly. We also smell neighbors cooking smells come through our vents. The elevator is also very slow.
Advice to owner:
Stop allowing people to smoke indoors or fix the air flow system.

Overall happy, but be prepared for some weird cons to living here
Former Tenant
Pros:
- Good amenities, don't require paying extra - Great location - Amazon locker behind locked door is nice - Management responsive to small issues - Neighbors are generally friendly - Elevator
Cons:
Big cons: - Neighbor's cooking leaks through vents. (Not through hallway, directly in from the kitchen and bathroom vents). Management can't/won't do anything about it.
Some smaller cons: - Water pressure is meh - Some tenants like to throw loud parties, walls aren't that thick. Partygoers often damage the building. - Package thieves target this building - Light pollution from neighbors - Bathtub doesn't drain fully

188 Humboldt
Former Tenant
Pros:
Building is kept clean Mailroom Amazon locker box Gym Co-working space Latch key access Organic supermarket on first level
Cons:
Amenities are few compared to other new builds in the area No front door person Almost No families in building/young crowd Gets messy, crowded, and loud during holidays or good weather Neighborhood is loud Finishes in apartments are cheap/installed poorly Apartment floor and walls are uneven Not enough washers/dryers for # of tenants
Advice to owner:
Be more diligent about who gets to rent. You should want to build a community in a building not just rent to people who are going to leave in a year and don’t care about the upkeep of the apartments or building.
Add more washers and dryers and more amenities to the building
Front door person to control the amount of non tenants who enter the building constantly to use roof, laundry room, and co working space.
