    Worst Landlord Ever

    Pros:
    It was clean.
    Cons:
    The whole building is built out of concrete, and no amount of furniture or rugs could muffle the noise of screaming children or parties. The landlord was the most heartless, careless human I have met in New York, which drove me out of the city for good. New Yorkers always surprised me with their empathy, but this man lacked even a shred of it. My property was stolen out of a locked room in the basement, and there was surveillance taken of people picking the locks. The locks were not replaced, and there was zero remorse from the landlord about my expensive property stolen. I paid extra to live in a building with amenities like locked bike rooms assuming my property would be secure. His response was "you live in New York." Zero accountability or humanity.

    Replace your locks when they are broken by thieves
