Too expensive for what it is
Former Tenant
Pros:
The apartment itself is had a nice layout and is spacious with lots of natural light. The street is lovely with lots of trees and plenty of nearby cafes and restaurants. Owners were responsive to maintenance requests
Cons:
Huge annual rent hikes is the biggest issue - landlord won’t hesitate to raise rent by 5% or more. Overall building maintenance has gone down since I moved in — hallways have gotten dirtier, laundry room not always maintained, and the rooftop furniture is ripped up and not functional. Gym is also very underwhelming.
Advice to owner:
Resume weekly cleaner. Stop predatory rent hikes
