Sad That Such a Nice Space is Going to Waste
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nice layout/apartment units, location, nice tenant neighbors (other than Slice), landlord let us break the lease from this nightmare very nicely and gave us back our deposit
Cons:
Where to begin? Slice Pizza ruined living here so much. Blasting music that vibrated the whole apt from as early as 7am to as late as 3am. Got aggressive anytime we tried to ask to turn it down, got ignored by their cop buddies at the horrible 108 precinct who actively told us to give up when employees harassed us, and we never had a moment of even reasonable noise levels. Slice also has a C health rating because of the rampant mice and roaches, which our landlord did not help with so we had to pay out of pocket twice for professional extermination. Shower is dangerous, only has extreme hot and extreme cold that go at random with no in between. Couldn't move in for a week because the previous tenant hung out there and when he left the place was full of his junk and a huge collection of roaches from all the trash he had left in the kitchen. God bless whoever lives here. I hope it gets better since I genuinely would've stayed and worked on the plumbing issues (also can't always flush FYI) and made this place a home if Slice hadn't literally run us out of it.
Advice to owner:
Get rid of Slice and refurbish the place a bit. But really, get rid of Slice. Those guys are awful to everyone in the neighborhood and not just your tenants. Look at all the women they harass on Google reviews. Check out the roaches in the pizza in photos. Have a chat with the jerk owner of Slice who laughed and said he was happy to displace us from our homes (he literally said that).
