Good so far!
Former Tenant
Pros:
All working amenities with a laundromat directly under us. Really cute roof that other residents hardly ever use! Rarely see other residents - very quiet for the most part, sometimes music or chitchat echos from the next door building into the courtyard. Haven’t had many exchanges with the property manager, but the ones I have had were short & sweet and got my issues resolved. Great location - super close to the 7 and close to the G, great restaurants nearby, waterfront park a few blocks away. Trader Joe’s a 10-15min walk.
Cons:
Working with the management company/broker to initially rent the unit was a slow and frustrating process, but once we got the keys, it’s been smooth sailing! No complaints about the building itself. Wish my unit had window shades already installed on the living room windows that face directly at other units when I moved in, but that’s super minor. The location is great EXCEPT it’s kind of a gym desert (expensive barre studio only thing still open immediately nearby), also does not have a late night scene in the neighborhood. Most places shut down by midnight, including pizza and bodegas. This is a pro and a con, because it’s super quiet and peaceful at night!
