Run For Your Life, Seriously!

Pros:
Literally nothing. Zero stars if I could.
Cons:
Rats, Roaches, Mice Galore! Lead and chemicals in the water! Little to no heat service! Leaks from ceilings! Mail regularly stolen from lobby! The “elevator” is really just a garbage lift and stinks.

Oh and the invasive mold that evidently pervaded inside my unit attached had itself to all my belongings. I had to throw away everything I owned after finally moving out, while already in tremendous debt with the medical bills from the ill health effects both myself and my dog endured while living there. If you value your life at all, run away from this building. They know they’re slumlords, and won’t even take your calls to complain for heat etc.

Believe me, I could not invent stories anywhere near as bad as this building is. Truly hell on earth. Don’t let a bargain rent fool you, you’ll absolutely pay with your life and health later.

Also the Super never wears a mask, even considering someone died of Covid in the first few weeks. Absolutely unacceptable living conditions.
Advice to owner:
Just destroy it.

This building is terrible! The landlord is the worse landlord I’ve ever met

I was constantly harassed by my landlord constantly trying to evict for no valid reason. He trespassed in my apartment threatened to throw me down the stairs, and put his hands on me, I called the police to file a report but because I have no proof of this happening they didn’t believe me, I was also Harrassed by a married couple that lived above me for 4 months straight , they would stomp on the floor and throw heavy items on the floor(that sounded like a bowling ball) which is my Ceiling anytime I would play music on my tv, the volume being no more then 20, but because this building is old the walls are paper thin. Their was a radiator pole in my room where nose would travel from upstairs to my apartment so at random times in the night like 3am they would wake me up by putting a speaker next to the radiator and play weird noses of animals barking and being hurt and noises of screaming, which was very scary and traumatizing, so I decided to go upstairs and ask them to stop, the husbands response was he will “stab me in my heart bitch” and “shoot me through the door”
I told the landlord about it and showed him videos of it happening and he did not care he actually yelled at me about is and said it was my fault they were doing this to me. Eventually these terrible people moved out. So that nightmare was over, now I’m just dealing with harassment from my landlord constantly being discriminated for my age and ethnicity and because I’m not the same race as anyone else in this building, so if you are deciding to move here please DO NOT! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND STAYING FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE, you will be affected mentally and emotionally! This building caused me to get a therapist! The landlord is a nightmare and so are the tenants that’s been living here for 10+ years
