Bad Bad Not Good
Former Tenant
Pros:
Right near the subway - easy commute to Manhattan
Cons:
The landlord does not respond, the unit was not heated properly, and the entryway is the filthiest place I've ever seen. One of the tenants cut his hand while I lived in the building and smeared blood ALL over the place - including the communal door handle - and he just left it there. Neither he nor the landlord bothered to clean it up, so I ended up taking bleach to the entire place. It's also located on a noisy intersection where lots of trucks pass by. The door handle to the building was also broken and the landlord didn't address it, so the building was actually not secure. Lastly, it was impossible to get packages delivered here.
Advice to owner:
You rent these units to real people who pay you lots of money. You should answer their calls and texts when they have concerns. You shouldn't skimp out on heat. There are lots of windows in the units and it gets cold in the winter. Figure something out for the lobby and front door.
