Not disappointed but not blown away. It’s a decent place to live.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Decent rent in an industrial area of LIC. Local businesses and tenants are all friendly, and the super is great. The location is convenient to everything. Bleaching during COVID.
Edit: trash can in lobby has been added since this review was posted. Good job A&E and landlord, and thank you.
Cons:
Some roach issues (nothing serious), but building provides free pest control and they are very reliable. The management company isn’t the responsive at times but they’ve gotten better during the pandemic. Heat kicks in at stated temps but damn, it gets cold in this building. Neighborhood can be loud at times with Ed Koch bridge traffic and general LIC music blasting cars at all hours.
Advice to owner:
Turn the heat on earlier. Add bathroom vent fans to units. Make sure the management company is more responsive. Garbage cans in common areas would keep mail litter to a minimum.
