Could be worse
Former Tenant
Pros:
The Super and his wife are the nicest people you’ll ever meet. Building is pretty clean and well managed.
Cons:
Pest issues inc. roaches both water bugs and the small ones. I saw a rat in the lobby once. Water turns brown sometimes but that’s prob due to how old the building is.

A decent building with scammy brokers
Former Tenant
Pros:
Building was nice, clean, super was great.
Cons:
Got scammed at renting time for an extra broker fee expected in cash. Eventually they wanted me out and jacked rent way up

Loved some things, frustrated by others
Former Tenant
Pros:
Welcoming Building Environment Friendly Supers Great View Great Location Many/Most units have dishwashers
Cons:
Lots of train noise Issues with red water/old pipes Drafty windows Ridiculous rent increases every year Poor closet construction (doors didn't shut if when using normal sized hangers) Water damage in units and building
Advice to owner:
Don't devalue a good, caring tenant with large rent increases year after year, especially when property issues are not adequately addressed.

Great Apartment to live in
Former Tenant
Pros:
Building superintendent is extremely accessible and cares about the people in the building.
99.9% of the neighbors are extremely kind and welcoming.
Tall ceilings/ lots of natural light
Always laundry machines available
Cons:
Old building with wood floors can make it easier to hear neighbors but really not that bad. Carpets are required to cover most the floors
Advice to owner:
Keep up the good work.
