Decent But Not Right For Me
Former Tenant
Pros:
It was in a nice neighborhood in Astoria, with busy shops and restaurants, and easy access to the N/W train.
Cons:
I chose a first floor apartment, and realized that I had to keep my blinds down to have privacy, but it made me feel more closed-in, so that was a mistake on my part.

This building would have been amazing but there were so many issues
Former Tenant
Pros:
size, natural lighting, location
Cons:
cockroaches, mold, 3 stoves with gas leaks, leaks from plumbing into other apartments, broken windows, unpredictable heat
Advice to owner:
care about the space a little more

You Get What You Pay For
Former Tenant
Pros:
Cheap A lot of space Great location Natural Light Flexible Owners/Super do not care what you do there.
Cons:
Any maintenance job will be half assed Lots of hidden mold Multiple units in second floor experienced leaks from 3rd floor apartments bathrooms for unexplainable reasons Super will show up at random hours Cock roaches were brought into building Old appliances You will ask for things to get fixed and they won’t Heat makes no sense in the winter. It’s mostly warm at night when your sleeping and freezing during the day and you have no control Windows don’t properly seal
Advice to owner:
Put effort into this building and it would be so much nicer!
