Bed bugs and roaches
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building was big and access to the roof was nice. Location is good.
Cons:
We had to sign a bed bug notice before moving in but they said it had all been taken care of but sure enough we got bed bugs. We had the worst cockroach problem I have ever seen. Infestation, hundreds of cockroaches, and so many of the big ones! We even had a serious water leak in our ceiling that soaked my roommates bed. The landlords solution each time was to paint over the leak... eventually we told him that obviously wasn’t working and they had to do major work on the ceiling leaving a hole in the ceiling for months. The landlord (Mario) was sweet old Italian man but was not a good landlord. He didn’t listen or tend to major issues. We had to bother him constantly for him to even take action.
Advice to owner:
Sell to a management company or someone who knows what they are doing. You can not fix a water leak with paint...
