Great neighborhood but that's all
Former Tenant
Pros:
It's in a really good pocket of Astoria convenient to a lot of public transportation and a lot of businesses such as restaurants and bars. The block itself is pretty quiet and safe.
Cons:
the building is incredibly old and not well maintained at all. Upkeep is extremely minimal and a lot of things fell apart.
Advice to owner:
take more pride in the building and be more attentive to the basic needs of the people who live there.

Not great upkeep
Former Tenant
Pros:
The neighborhood is amazing , and the price is right
Cons:
The building is falling apart. Rotting out windows , and mold in the bathroom. That said , I never have had any issue with bugs (other than the occasional terrifying centipede). The management really doesn’t keep up with modernizing the building. My apt needs to be fully gutted

One of our rooms is deathly hot , and we can’t control the radiator
Advice to owner:
Check in with your tenants more. In particular , long term responsible tenants ! Our home is in desperate need of some renovation , and we have payed on time for ten years. It would be nice to feel valued

Do not recommend
Former Tenant
Pros:
This is a good location within Astoria, Nice block
Cons:
Incredibly noisy neighbors who are all related to the building owner, there was a child who would sit on the stairs and just scream. We didn't always have heat, the plumbing was constantly breaking down and the general upkeep was a disaster.
