Roach Infested Nightmare
Former Tenant
Pros:
not a single thing was good about this place.
Cons:
ROACH INFESTED SHITHOLE WITH SCUMMY LANDLORDS WHO IGNORE REQUESTS AND LET YOU LIVE IN INHUMANE CONDITIONS. 1 year straight of contacting daily about a severe roach infestation within the building with pictures 311 calls and videos. I got gaslit and told that it was my fault, when there is a hoarder living in the building and they refuse to do anything about it. They ghost you and blame you and charge a ridiculous rate to live with seeing 30+ LIVE american and german roaches per day. I could not cook or shower in the apartment without seeing them. I was living in an apartment covered in poison, diatomaceous earth, borax, and more. It affected my health and I had severe asthma, and they did NOTHING. The property manager told me “he doesn’t get paid enough to care about it”. Absolutely disgusting, rotten people.
Advice to owner:
Treat your tenants better, treat the building for roaches, and don’t let anyone live there until it is cleared out!

Roach Motel and Angry Super
Former Tenant
Pros:
Neighbors are fine, antisocial and not too loud. Laundry in building is okay when it works but it breaks sometimes. Front door buzzer only works sometimes
Cons:
Super is terrible, completely unresponsive, won’t fix work orders for months. roaches in kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms. The super is rude and gets angry if you try to call him out on his bad management. Broken things like the entryway intercom will stay broken for weeks, locking people out of the building. I am moving out and wouldn’t recommend that anybody live here.

Two Words: Unresponsive Management
Former Tenant
Pros:
The neighbors are super friendly and the rent is relatively cheap for the location and the renovated apartment features.
Cons:
Management is super unresponsive and won't do anything without threatening to withhold rent or report them to the city. Our apartment barely had heat during the coldest months. Also, there were repairs that needed to be made prior to move in that weren't done until months in. The new super seems good though.
Advice to owner:
Respond to your tenants without them having to get hard on you. It's really that easy and it makes everyone's life less stressful.

Look closer to see
Former Tenant
Pros:
- Good location - General condition of building is adequate
Cons:
- Renovation work was shoddy – uneven flooring and dry wall throughout. - Electricity would cut out just from the A/C being on - Management was a pain to deal with - No shower door and poor water drainage - Lobby is always gross with garbage and litter
Advice to owner:
Put actual care into how you design and build your apartments – people are going to live there...

Doesn't exist cleaning at all
Former Tenant
Pros:
Apartment is renewed.
Cons:
Management doesn't pay attention to your requests, in one year lease the building was cleaned just 3 times!, is disgusting. The laundry room, the worst.

Tenants and bad renovation work ruin the potential
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good location. Close to 30th ave markets, restaurants, shopping, etc.
Cons:
Most of the tenants are really inconsiderate, immature, and loud. Absolute children who can barely take care of themselves let alone take responsibility and care for the community they live in.
Trash is frequently left out in the hallway, dog urine in the lobby, etc.
Despite regular exterminator visits provided by management, there’s still lots of roach and rat problems through out the building thanks to the same idiocy we have here.
Other than that, renovation work is amateur at best. example: shower floor was not leveled properly so water doesn’t flow toward the drain. You gotta sweep it.
Advice to owner:
Stop renting to kids and their roommates who’ve never lived in their own.
Get better carpenters for any future renovations.
You’ll actually save money in the long run by doing both.
