Rent stabilized new-ish building
Former Tenant
Pros:
- Rent stabilized - Location - Each floor only has 2 units, and they sit opposite from each other. - Each floor has a small common storage room in the hallway - Elevator - 2 washers & 2 dryers in the basement - Every unit except for the ground floor unit has a balcony - No pests - Landlord is responsive - Central air - Thermostat
Cons:
- No pets allowed - Water pressure is not good - Only cold water is included in your rent - Construction for a new building right next door will start soon, and it'll block sunlight for most of the units. - The building is about 10yrs old and already showing signs of deterioration like small cracks in the bathroom ceiling. It'll probably become another mediocre building after another 10yrs.
