Management Severely Lacking
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building has good bones
Cons:
The management and responsiveness to emergency repairs has been terrible. There have been multiple violations of tenants rights and habitability over the years. There were electrical fire hazards in the bathroom, mold in the ceiling from leaks in the roof, points where the bathtub would not drain despite drain covers and pouring down dissolving liquids. Had to open case in small claims court to recoup cost of hiring electrician for fire hazard in the bathroom (would not address sparking/smoking outlet). Oven broke and lesser quality one was installed - but done so poorly, unevenly and removal of the old oven exposed piles of rat poison behind it.
