Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant reviews for 25-98 36 St, Queens highlight the building's convenient location, spacious and quiet units, and decent water pressure. However, management responsiveness is a significant concern, with multiple reports of unaddressed maintenance issues including heating failures, leaks, and pest problems. Rent increases are reportedly steep and frequent, contributing to high tenant turnover. While neighbors are generally seen as friendly and noise levels are low, the inconsistency in maintenance and communication with management undermines the overall living experience. Rent stability is absent, and tenants urge management to improve responsiveness and address safety and habitability issues promptly.

Good Ole Nelson

Pros

Building is in a great area and has a working elevator

Cons

Management is terrible and rent hikes are steep - 200 + a month and no heat in the winter. Leaks, no heat and no response. Good luck Oh, and you are probably living in a Good Cause Unit but they won't inform you and will try to increase your rent by 24%
