Nice, affordable place to live
Former Tenant
Pros:
Well-maintained building with stabilized units. Management is generally responsive and never had any major issues like leaks or severe noise. Windows are also unusually large, which is nice.
Cons:
Neighbors hold fairly frequent weekend parties across the street in front of the industrial buildings on 35th Street, which creates some relatively minor noise issues. Also periodic small infestations of ant-like bugs, and the occasional cockroach.

Super That Cares
Former Tenant
Pros:
The super is extremely responsive in the event of anything going wrong. Lots of kind older long term residents.
Cons:
It's an old NYC building with old NYC building issues
Advice to owner:
Give your Super and his whole team a fat raise!

Awful neighbors
Former Tenant
Pros:
The unit itself was renovated
Cons:
I lived in close proximity to really problematic neighbors, who blasted music all day, who hung out in large gangs in front of the building, smoked weed in the hallways, and who made comments, including slurs, towards LGBTQ tenants
Advice to owner:
Be upfront about the type of neighbors tenants will have

Overall good building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Overall had no real complaints here other than noisy upstairs neighbors and barking dogs
Pest control was great
Not a single pest found really
Cons:
Just noise from neighbors

Good apartment for price
Former Tenant
Pros:
Like the location and the price of the apartment for the space. Our unit wasn’t the most renovated kitchen, but I know other unit are more renovated. When something needs to be fixed (like the toilet), the super is responsive and they fix the issue promptly.
Cons:
German cockroaches out of control. Completely ridiculous.
