Rent with this landlord at your own risk
Former Tenant
Pros:
Building is good for natural light, great location next to the subway, great sized bedrooms, only two units in the building
Cons:
I regret to say that my experience with this landlord has been extremely negative. He is incredibly misogynistic, often displaying disgustingly condescending and disrespectful behavior. Whenever there are issues with the apartment, his first response is to try and place the blame on the tenants rather than addressing the problem. This is especially true if you are a woman; he consistently treats female tenants with a lack of respect and dismissiveness. I would strongly advise anyone, especially women, to look elsewhere for housing to avoid dealing with such a toxic and unpleasant landlord.
