Great super; gorgeous view of the sunset

Pros:
Gorgeous sun-soaked apartment on a quiet block. Two easy options for laundromats (one is steps away and the other is slightly cheaper but a bit farther), and tons up 30th Ave. Responsive landlord who is determined to make sure this apartment stays in good shape. Flag any issues of cracking, etc., with him so that it doesn't turn into a larger issue.
Cons:
The apartment definitely received the "landlord special" prior to move in (light switches painted instead of disinfected, super thick layer of paint on the walls, etc.). Definitely wasn't bad, though. When I lived there, we experienced a pest problem (cockroaches). Boric acid ended up saving the day. I suspect the landlord has sealed that since we left.
Advice to owner:
Cockroaches are not a natural part of life for clean renters. Seal the areas behind the sinks, oven, fridge, and bathroom fixtures if you haven't already so that this remains the gorgeous apartment that it is!!
