The landlord is not responsive and guilts you when there are problems
Pros
The location is great, and there's parking included and an outdoor space.
Cons
The landlord is terrible about turning on heat, uses questionable labor to do significant repairs after hours. I went 5 months with intermittent heat and she refused to do anything about it, until I finally reported her to the city. She's bad about turning on heat at the start of the year. There was a significant leak in the building that necessitated renovations to the unit below me that led to 7 months of constant construction often illegally late at night (we're talking 10pm here) When I moved in the unit had not been properly cleaned prior to move in and I had to physically remove every cabinet door in the kitchen and hand wash it.
Advice to the owners
Do better.
