Great owners/landlords/downstairs neighbors, other neighbors ehh
Former Tenant
Pros:
Multigenerational owners with roots in the neighborhood that are sweet and as responsive as can be and live on the bottom floor.
Cons:
By far the biggest problem isn’t the property itself but the loud neighbors on either side — on one side the residents are the owners, and on the other side (the attached other half of the building not owned by our landlords) it’s a revolving door of tenants that range from chill to super loud and full of drama. Like, “screaming matches with exes on the street” drama. Plus the attached neighboring unit’s owner doesn’t hire pest control professionals, so every time a rando tenant or subletter moves in or out fun critters make their way into our side. Our landlords promptly get pest control out when this happens. Also, not our landlords’ fault as all the buildings around here are like this, but the layout of the space is a bit awkward. It would be really pricey to do anything about it so it’s all good.
