Alright for the price
Former Tenant
Pros:
Excellent location - Quiet side street off great commercial strip (Ditmars Blvd)
Close to train
Decent value
Cons:
As far as I can tell, the common areas (hall) never seemed to be cleaned
Roaches - periodically seen in the hallway and apt
My apartment seemingly not been painted or renovated in a long time
Landlord not my favorite person to deal with - arbitrary rules and not particularly pleasant
Advice to owner:
Invest more in the building, more than just unnecessary security cameras on every floor - why would I want this as a tenant - my rent money I give to you could go to better things than this waste of $.
