Its a fascade, dont be deceived btwn owners to appearance of apt at first glance
Former Tenant
Pros:
Space was private, had lots of natural light, a secluded outdoor space, in a relatively quiet neighborhood, with nearby amenities.
Cons:
The landlords/owners are not trust worthy, don’t follow through, and gaslight. The building itself is in need of major repairs. The gas and electric bill is super expensive- tack that onto rent cost in winter summer.
Advice to owner:
Tenants deserve respect & integrity stop lying. Landlords have a responsibility to tenants whether acknowledged or not b/c you impact others livelihood. Roof leaking for yrs damage in apts, never repaired to close up holes, painted to temp seal. Visible water marks on walls & floors, causing buckling & holes & front door warping. Notified owners on sev occasions for yrs-calls, emails, & texts & never repaired to spackle hole and stop mold growth. Cheap don’t care about proper/basic upkeep or follow thru. Right b4 pandemic reported issues to hus/wife owners who placate & dodge getting caught in middle of their dysfunctional marital dynamic. Running theme of tenants giving up on contacting bc they won’t take care of anything. Building dirty w/ incidents of dog/garbage/food spills or snow removal in winter. History of withheld deposit money, for false claims (also verif by other ten). Paid rent every month respected space, so not case of retaliation just lack of decency by owners.
