Quiet neighborhood but can't flush toilet paper
Former Tenant
Pros:
Neighborhood is amazingly quiet, good sunlight at top of the little hill. Apartment was decently clean and all appliances worked.
Cons:
The toilet could not handle toilet paper. I had to put my used toilet paper in a bin for a year, just like I did when I lived in rural South America. Had exactly one mouse, and super came and set traps. Regularly had small roaches come through the kitchen sink. One freezing winter, the heat would be completely off from 11pm to 5am. After paying a broker's fee to get in (I was dumb), after one year they raised my rent 17% and I had to move.
Advice to owner:
Get real toilets. Don't gouge people. There's a reason you haven't been able to raise rents in the last decade.
