Good price for the space
Former Tenant
Pros:
Landlord was very responsive, apartment was remodeled before we moved in, pet friendly, not a busy street, you are the first/last stop on the N/W so you can get a seat, groceries stores and great restaurants nearby
Cons:
Lots of cab and Uber drivers park on the street so parking is tough but better than other places in the city, walls were thin so hear your neighbors very easily, no laundry in building and no laundromats close by, bad ventilation in the apartment so the smoke alarm goes off all the time (and you could hear your neighbors’ go off all the time too) when you used the stove or oven.

Loud neighbors, nonexistent exterminator
Former Tenant
Pros:
Apartment was painted nicely, floors are good quality, refrigerator and stove are high quality, parking in area isn't too bad.
Cons:
There has been no gas service for over a month, people regularly scream in the alley and throughout the building, exterminator apparently comes on the 4th of each month, but has yet to be seen, hallways are dirty, apartment initially had no hardware for internet service. The window for offering a lease renewal has passed without such offer.
Advice to owner:
Have repairs done in a timely manner, tell the exterminator to actually knock on the apartment doors, clean the hallways.
