I've lived in Astoria for eight years, and I love the neighborhood and how close it is to Astoria Park. My neighbors and I look out for each other, especially since the pandemic.
Cons
The landlord barely responds to anything—maintenance requests get ignored, they have blocked multiple tenants' numbers, and they have stopped responding to texts or phone calls. What’s been even more frustrating is how differently he treats women.
