Very old apartment
Former Tenant
Pros:
Sunny apartments that face away from the RFK bridge. This minimizes the noise pollution despite being so close. Management does not hassle you. In fact they have never reached out once to me about anything save for my renewal. Relatively quiet and peaceful.
Cons:
Very, very old unrenovated apartment with no closet space, roaches can be an issue in the spring despite being very clean. I’ve never seen a rodent thank god. Super is not really responsive and there is zero communication when any changes are happening in the building. Seems nice but overworked and stressed out. You have to follow up so many times to get a response. You can hear everyone in the hallway but otherwise the apt has better soundproofing than in other old buildings. Garbage area can be a mess but it’s thankfully outside on the side of the building so it doesn’t seem like a contributing factor to pests. Garbage problem has improved a bit over the last month or two.
Advice to owner:
Communication can be improved.
