As expected of building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Reasonable rent cost, pet friendly, close to park. Landlord is a decent guy and responsive within reason.
Cons:
Building isn’t the cleanest, fixes are from refurbished appliances, or jimmy fixed, can’t imagine how times paint has just been painted over (everything). Too many residents for one bedroom, but luckily weren’t overly loud, though walls can seem paper thin at times.
Advice to owner:
Repairs could be better. Super at times does bare minimum so either he needs to be compensated more or given the right tools/supplies for repairs, possibly even getting specialist when necessary who is skilled in maintenance. Honestly the landlord was decent considering what else is out there.
