Well maintained, spacious
Former Tenant
Pros:
Spacious Apartment. Nicely maintained building. Affordable price.
Cons:
Outside street noise. The apartments by the corner of the streets are noisy due to traffic. The apartments at the back of the building are quiet.
Advice to owner:
None.

Perfect rental if not for one thing...
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building is clean and quiet. The landlords are a family and easy to access. The super is also easy to reach, and responsive. Rent is reasonable, especially as the apartments are spacious and the views are gorgeous. Pet friendly and has a small parking lot.
Cons:
Roaches. The landlords do not do enough to manage an infestation. An exterminator comes once a month but only to apartments that have added their names to a signup sheet that is posted only the night before and easy to miss. The building is also very old and water damage from old pipes is a frequent occurance.

While the landlord has a very challenging personality, he is usually helpful in the end.
Advice to owner:
Please make pest management a priority. Exterminator should come at the same time every month to every single apartment. Drastic measures should be introduced to curtail the infestation in the basement. The landlord may want to consider anger management courses.
