Stay away, terrible management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Quiet, because hardly any tenants are left. Good super, but he’s only one man and can’t do everything. Rent stabilized. No elevator issues.
Cons:
Dirty halls, German roach infestation, fire alarms do NOT work(building had a major fire months ago and none of the alarms rang, even told landlord and they’ve yet to be fixed.) Heat/hot water can be pretty unreliable. Building hallways aren’t up to code. Also, directly across from a brothel where there are corner watchmen 24/7.
Management is not helpful. They did absolutely nothing until I contacted the New Rochelle office.
Advice to owner:
When your tenant finds the source of an infestation, it is then your job to fix it. You don’t cork up a wall if it’s unfinished, you fix the dry wall!
