Building cleaned regularly, owners really try to keep pests out
Former Tenant
Pros:
Building cleaned regularly, owners really try to keep pests out with metal garbage cans. Property management is responsive.
Cons:
Heat is turned on really high in the fall/winter/early spring. But that's pretty standard for steam radiator apartments.
Advice to owner:
Perhaps get industrial garbage bins that are pest-proof like these: https://www.steelmastersnyc.com/rodent-proof-garbage-bins/
Might make tenants less likely to throw their garbage on the ground instead of lifting the lid.
