Great & Responsive Landlord with all the Typical Problems in a Pre-War Building
Former Tenant
Pros:
- Landlord and super are very responsive to any issues - NYC DEP tested the water and the pipes in my unit were lead-free - An exterminator comes monthly to deal with any bugs
Cons:
- Old wood constructed walk-up building which has many of the typical problems: can hear your neighbors walking upstairs very loudly, poorly insulated walls (high energy bills in the summer from the AC), radiator blasts the heat in the winter and windows need to be opened to cool the apartment, bugs in the summer - Spectrum internet is the only internet provider for the building and they know this. The speeds are terrible and they increase the price for internet a lot each year - Many neighbors play loud music during the day and sometimes at night
