Cheap but poorly managed
Former Tenant
Pros:
The tent is reasonable in this neighbor. Rent Increase is also reasonable each year. Don’t have too much noise cause my apartment faces quite street. Close to subway and there are some supermarkets nearby makes grocery shopping an easy task. A medium size park is also nearby but always crowded.
Cons:
No laundry room which means we need to walk 3-min for laundry, rain or shine. Pest control is bad - cockroaches/mice/fly... years ago mice made a hole in my apartment and super didn’t answer our call or respond our text messages as we hoped someone could come and patch the hole. It took us several months to finally had someone came and fixed it. After one or two years, another hole was made by mice (not yet fixed). Super is not responsive. Packages are sometime stolen. There were several times that delivered packages were opened and stolen in front of my door. Reported this issue to super several times and response is always “there’s nothing we can do”. Oh btw, one power outlet is not working at all for years - issue was reported but and still not fixed.
Advice to owner:
I understand that stuff could be broken after years of use, but the repair always takes months to get done. Super is not responsive. Increase number of surveillance cameras to reduce package stolen rate.
