Convenient Rental but very pre war
Former Tenant
Pros:
Close to mass transit and shopping.
Cons:
Extremely creaky floors. Apartments are deteriorating from the inside. Nails don't hold in walls. Extremely expensive rent for prospective tenants.
Advice to owner:
Renovate bathrooms for elderly tenants.

Tenant review
Former Tenant
Pros:
-Close to train -Decent sized apt
Cons:
-in the summer time there are bugs (centipedes, water bugs HUGE, ladybugs, cockroaches) everywhere including in the hallways/walls. Coming in from cracks that whoever fixed this apt left open like between the floorboard and wall. -poor water pressure. Toilet constantly gets clogged/has issue flushing. - The actual management office sends someone to check it but the maintenance workers in the building and Super could care less. That is shown by their actions and attitude. -the washing machines in the laundry are disgusting. Water does not flow correctly and it constantly smells like sewer water. -I did not see any extra precautions taken during covid and rarely see anyone cleaning the building. -Through out a few months when COVID hit no one could get in contact with the super. He wouldn’t answer his cell and I spoke to multiple tenants that said the super was missing or there’s been a change of super. Only to find out almost a year later it’s still the same super - the elevator constantly gets stuck and it is not leveled when it stops (this means there is a huge maintenance problem with the elevator, according to 311) I got stuck in the elevator once for about 20 mins. Super didn’t answer, management office didn’t answer. I had to call the fire dept to help me. Luckily another tenant let me out so the fire dept came for nothing.
Advice to owner:
Take more pride in your buildings. Don’t just care about rent being paid on time. I’d be embarrassed to say I am the property owner while the building is so dirty and not taken care of. Hire a better super and employees that care about the job.
