They can do better!
Former Tenant
Pros:
The landlord is very nice and tries to help but the people they hire to fix the building are not professional at all. The BUILDING NEIGHBORS are good but the neighbors outside the building LOUD Parties! The garbage is easy and mostly out of the way. No elevator but great excersise
Cons:
BUGS! Biggest issue are bugs and mice. I often stay months here because of my grandparents it’s been about 20 years since they moved in. The people the building hired to fix the other apartments got all the building bugs running up to my poor old grandparents. The mice have chewed through the floor bored and every time we think we got rid of them all there is a new hole. My grandparents got an new sink installed. The people the building hired to fix it. Did more then they were hired to do. They changed the entire counter top. Which although looks nice a black top with bugs running around just made life harder for my bad eye sight old people. They left a big gapping hole at the bottom of the sink so now even more bugs come in and my grandparents have to keep fixing it.
WHEN WILL THEY COME AND PULL UP THE 20 year old carpet.... I have no clue I know for a fact that i have many peep accidents on that carpet and I’m 22. I also have 2 kids of my own that have had plenty of pee moments. The carpet is filled with mildew and just toxins I’ve been asking for all the carpet in the home to removed but still waiting on a response from a PROFESSIONAL.
Finally the heat. Idk what it’s like on the first floor but the 4th floor is cold and most winter the heat doesn’t even reach the top floors. Gets heater. Tap down ur windows to prevent wind chills and invest in THICK blinds cause it’s freezing.
Advice to owner:
Take better care of your old tenets. Top apartments are flooded with bugs and rodents and no one cares. Fix it!
