BEYOND TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT
Former Tenant
Pros:
Super & porter are very nice. They do the best they can with the circumstances. Building is walking distance to a lot of things.
Cons:
EVERYTHING! Owners don’t care about anyone, just their money. Building is infested with large rats, like the ones on the subway & roaches of all sizes. Repairs take months to get fixed, very little follow up from management, if any. The garbage chutes are always full. 1 of the 2 elevators is usually not working. Lots of mold, cheap paint is used. Whenever a service order is sent to a outside vendor they take the cheapest route to fix anything, so the issues are never really resolved. Any materials they have rhe vendors use is cheap. They will go all out to renovate the new apartments ask for a crazy amount of rent. No security cameras in building, even after a shoot out across the street where 10 people were shot. Laundry machines aren’t always working. They way they advertise their this property online is a joke, a bunch of scammers. This management company is racist, they assume everyone here doesn’t speak or read English so they take advantage. Hot water will randomly go out. The super is attends to all 70 units here plus 4-5 properties nearby, so that’s over 100 units. How do they physically think it’s possible for 1 person to do all that work. There are a lot of kids and elderly people here but they don’t care. I think the only people that give this company decent reviews are either new or living in a wealthier/white area so it’s probably kept up better. They don’t care about their tenants in the lower income neighborhoods..This “management company” if you want to call them that, is only interested in making their share holders money. THAT IS IT!!!
Advice to owner:
Remember that human beings live here!!! No one deserves to live like this. They should all be ashamed of themselves. Stop acquiring so many buildings/units if they can’t maintain them!!!
