Forgot bout the average person, trying to be like Manhattan
Former Tenant
Pros:
Convenience all around (Costco-the neighborhood dollar stores, 3 grocery stores within 3 blocks, all types of food options. 7 min to LGA 15 to JFK off-peak hrs. Access to 3 acres of land in the back is great for a light workout/scroll, perfect for the kids, tennis, basketball, and soccer court. This area is only open 8am to dusk
Cons:
The laundry room always has 1/2 broken machines & they don't clean the detergent pour space often enough. Security for the building is just a visual detergent. They are only there to observe and report. They DO NOT assist with missing packages, confirming community space door access is available, granting you access in case their call box system doesn't work, or even if you have a key fob for the bldg. They don't even deter the homeless from the front lobby area. I've seen a homeless person sleeping on the front step of the child care center selling loose cigs in front of the bldg, tailgate another resident into the main lobby where our mail and packages are left. Security has done nothing, not even calling for the higher level security on site as a detail (they look like retired vets/forces). you have to pay $20 per person for the pool NO GUEST, you can use it only if you have a key fob, and only open from Memorial Day to labor day no exceptions. The community back area is open to all residents; your fob will NOT allow you through access on any bldg except for yours. Want to talk to mgt, get ready to play phone tag. Their office hours are the same as 95% of the people who work to afford this space, 9-4/5 on the dot. I watched the staff wait for the clock to hit 5 on the dot locked the door instantly and rushed to leave immediately. For your morning commute get ready to play hopscotch through animal feces.
