Avoid this death trap
Pros
Landlord let us paint, no credit check, rent remained at the same price for 2.5 years. We made our own repairs and took the money off of our rent.
Cons
Landlord does repairs himself and haphazardly. Roaches. Building used to be 2 apartments and was illegally hacked into 4. No bathroom sink. Filthy peel and stick vinyl flooring. Freezing cold in the winter. No sound proofing in between apartments. Mice. Landlord lives downstairs and never wears a mask.
Advice to the owners
Sell the property to someone who will fix it up to code.
