Overall Cozy Building
Former Tenant
Pros:
The location is fantastic. Very close to public transportation and shopping districts in Forest Hills. Quality of each unit varies as each is owned by its own person.
Cons:
Garbage room has a propensity to stink up the first floor hallway, but management is attempting to remedy. The floors are a bit thin so you'll need carpeting.

Okay building, not great landlord
Former Tenant
Pros:
The laundry in the building Elevator Nice neighbors Quiet
Cons:
Sometimes super would not come when called Landlord was very slow to respond regarding apartment Landlord never came to see if there were damages and then said there were. Some were from before we moved in and one was a normal wear and tear so they don’t want to return the security deposit Roaches in the garbage area but pest control came every other weekend
Advice to owner:
Please actually speak to the tenants and do not brush them off. If you say you’re going to come by to check the apartment prior to move out day then actually show up.

Roaches everywhere
Former Tenant
Pros:
It's in Queens... That's about it.
Cons:
Where to start. The landlord is a complete scumbucket. There are roaches everywhere... Everywhere. And he had the nerve to tell me there's no bug problem. Worst place I've ever lived in.
Advice to owner:
You run a slum. Good riddance.
