Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews for 66-15 Thornton Place in Queens show a mixed living experience. The building is praised for its cleanliness, convenient location near transit and shopping, and quiet atmosphere by some tenants. Amenities like laundry and an elevator are appreciated. However, significant concerns include inconsistent heating, pest issues (notably roaches), garbage odors, and variable unit quality. Management responsiveness and tenant relations often fall short, with complaints about slow or unhelpful owner responses and strict rules. Noise insulation is thin, and neighbors receive mixed ratings. Rent stabilization status remains unclear. Prospective renters should weigh the benefits of location and cleanliness against maintenance and management challenges.

Former Tenant
Pros:
Clean, well maintained, nice area
Cons:
The heat always dies in here, building will find any reason to refuse keeping good tenants. Management has insanely strict rules for deliveries.

Overall Cozy Building
Former Tenant
Pros:
The location is fantastic. Very close to public transportation and shopping districts in Forest Hills. Quality of each unit varies as each is owned by its own person.
Cons:
Garbage room has a propensity to stink up the first floor hallway, but management is attempting to remedy. The floors are a bit thin so you'll need carpeting.
