Pleased Tennyson Tenant
Former Tenant
Pros:
I've lived in this building for several years, and overall love living here. The apartment is beautiful. Great location- close enough to Austin, but far enough to have less street noise. We've never had any major issues- Carlos, the super has always been responsive and courteous in all the years we've lived here. Pretty clean.
Cons:
Unfortunately, you can hear everything through the floors- even with rugs. Also, the heat is sweltering when it's on, and opening the window doesn't seem to help a ton, unless there's enough of a breeze.
Advice to owner:
Perhaps some type of noise barrier insulation? Also, if there are any spare rooms for this, a gym in building would be amazing.

Nice Block - Noisy Building
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building is clean and the super is very nice.
Cons:
You can hear everything your neighbors do - every conversation - every bathroom use.
Advice to owner:
Invest in better soundproofing

Not worth it.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Building staff does a great job making sure sidewalks are well shoveled when it snows.
Cons:
VERY poorly heated. Washers and dryers often out of service or not working well. Elevators often get stuck.
