Space is fine, Landlord is awful

Pros:
Spacious apartment, decent lighting
Cons:
Landlord is very absent while landlord’s father shows up at random, decides what can and cannot be there based on his impulse, does not communicate clearly or at all, focuses on small issues he has with tenants and ignores large structural issues like pests, defunct electrical sockets & light fixtures, insufficient heat, negligent plumbing.
Advice to owner:
Hire actual professionals to repair your building’s issues and not your family members who do not know what they’re doing. Do not show up at random to complain to tenants.
