Surprisingly good experience
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building is recently renovated and is well maintained. They have cleaning people clean the entryway and stairs pretty frequently. Trash is taken out timely. The A/C and heat in my unit was good. When things would break the super was responsive and would come right away to fix them. The basement washing machine room is cleaned often as well and the machines work fine. We never had any pests or bugs. The street is quiet and clean. Also in the building there's only 3 other units besides ours, and they were all very chill and friendly.
Cons:
The two middle rooms don't have windows, only sky lights. (Although some people might like that) Also the half bathroom is sort of funny in that it's just a toilet and a shower, no sink. This is listed as a 4 bedroom but we used the front (street facing) bedroom as a shared living room space and used the other 3 rooms as bedrooms. Since the shared space around the kitchen also only has sky lights, it would have been a little hard to live here if we didn't make the front room with the windows into a living room. But these are structural things that can't be changed, and it wasn't that bad.
