Would be a great home if there weren't so many roaches
Former Tenant
Pros:
Quiet neighborhood, big living room and kitchen.
Cons:
Roaches, even after exterminator visits, landlord barely responds. Only responded after I sent in a HPD complaint.
Advice to owner:
Please get rid of the roaches

Flooding/mold - do not move here!
Former Tenant
Pros:
None of the pros outweighs the cons in anyway - this unit is not livable
Cons:
I downloaded this app just to review this apartment so hopefully no one will make a similar mistake. I lived on the first floor and lower floor (basement) with yard for almost two years, and recently moved out. The basement floods with poop and water halfway up the wall. When we asked about flooding before moving in they said they had no history of it. After a year of living here, the landlord (jay) said he would waterproof. He did this several times, nothing worked. We stopped paying rent for a year and we were subjected to mold and feces whenever it rained. NEVER MOVE HERE. They never fixed the flooding problem and put the unit back on the market immediately after we moved out. We had thousands of dollars of our belongings ruined. I’m pretty sure we all have problems breathing from the mold. Also, the apartment smells like cat pee whenever it rains. We were very close to suing but instead didn’t pay rent for a year. This was a nightmare. I can’t believe this unit is currently on the market.
